I bought two direct tv remotes from them. They did not come with any batteries. I put in batteries and the first one worked like a charm, no programming what so ever. When i put the batterys in the second one, it did not work what so ever. The lights didnt turn on or anything.
I then contacted etcomm and with no questions asked they sent me another one, and recieved it the next few days. As of now they all work like a charm and was an unbeatable price!

After the dog chewed my second Directv remote, I found this one on line for a very cheap price. I thought - why not - so if it doesn't work I only waste a few dollars. Got the remote today. It's an exact replica of the other 2 and it works fine. If the dog gets this one, I'll order another one.

At just under $6 after shipping costs, you cannot go wrong with this purchase if you need to replace your current remote for your Direct TV receiver. Direct TV charges something in the ballpark of $65 for a replacement from them. This remote was brand new, not refurbished, which is a plus.

This was bought simply to replace an identical remote which had stopped working. It does exactly what we need it to do. We have no need for RF, so that is not an issue.

I bought this to use with an older TV, but it doesn't accept some of the older codes. Just be aware of that fact before buying, OK? You may want to check manufacturer's sites first. Otherwise, it's a very nice product for the price, but was a little slow arriving. The response time could be improved on. Do a little homework on-line first, to see if this remote will work for you, OK? Works nicely with some of the newer products, though.
