Product Description Our HDMI Cables are high quality cables that will do exactly what you need an HDMI cable to do. Simply put, they will cleanly transport the signal from your Blu-Ray player, PS3 or X-Box to your television without degrading the picture. And if your Blu-Ray player or game console happens to transmit 120hz, they will not get in the way of that either. Our HDMI cables are CERTIFIED Category 2 by HDMI Authorized Testing Center to meet or exceed todays most advanced HDMI standard. Unlike category 1 cables, which are only guaranteed to throughput 1080i resolution, our HDMI cables are certified category 2, which means they are guaranteed to throughput 1080p. Please visit the HDMI.org website to learn more about the advantages of high speed category 2 cables. Category 2 cables offer the most advanced performance to date and are a technological step up from Category 1 cables. Good cable August 23, 2010 L.E.O. 293 I bought this cable after buying the same cable a few years ago. The cable is made well a snaps into the hdmi ports with a nice fit. I am not replacing the ones I have I just needed two extra 6 feet cables for a few more additions to my entrainment system. I powered theses cables up to 1080p on the ps3 for a movie and it works great. It's amazing that I can can have theses cables for [$...] bucks and there are ones out there for [$...] bucks that does the except same thing without the exact same picture.
Ordered two cables and both were defective. August 7, 2010 Gormley (New Jersey) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered two Cables from this seller and neither worked when hooked up through my cable box and PS3. I would understand if one didn't work but both. I can't believe that I am that unlucky. I will contact Amazon about a refund. Amazon has always been very good to me so I hope this can get panned out, but in the meantime I am so frustrated. I really wish no stars was an option.
It's a cable... what's to review? ;) July 25, 2010 S. LEECH (Ohio) This was a very inexpensive cable, yet it looks to be well constructed, and it works fine. What else can you ask for in a cable? Two thumbs up!
This one replaced the component cables I was using to hook the Xbox 360 to my TV. One surprising benefit (in addition to wire clutter reduction) to this change was a distinctly sharper picture. I was very surprised, I was of the impression that component cables and HDMI, from the picture side of the equation, would be very close - especially on a small TV (40" LCD). Also, if you are using component cables with your XBOX 360 and find you are having video drop-out in certain games, switch to an HDMI cable. One game (Monopoly, a family favorite) was simply unplayable due to drop outs. It works fine, now.
Monster Cables...why July 13, 2010 R. Johnson (Bryn Mawr, PA United States) I bought these cables and I am quite satisfied. Recent study shows that components don't know the difference between Monster cable and wire hangers...think about it.
Why pay more? July 7, 2010 Ken S. (san diego, ca) The cable works and it's cheap... Maybe a techno-phile is willing to pay a bunch for a HDMI cable, but if you can't tell the difference... Avatar looked pretty good to me using this cable...
